Kittens
In order to age up from a kit to an apprentice, you must post at least 30 times.
Apprentices
Once you become an apprentice you need to get a mentor, and you and that mentor must train until you've completed 2 lessons and 1 final assessment. The mentor gets to choose what lessons to teach and what the final assessment is. The mentor must also make sure that his/her apprentice has gone on at least 1 patrol in his/her lifetime as an apprentice.
Warrior Ceremony
The only way the leader will hold a ceremony for the apprentice is if the mentor creates a thread in the Leader's Den stating that the apprentice is ready to become a Warrior. Once that has been done, the leader will give the mentor a time frame and then a thread will be created for the apprentice. The apprentice has the option to choose their own name, in order to make that known you should let the leader know this by making a discreet OOC comment in the thread or PMing the leader. If you fail to do this before the naming part of the ceremony then a name is chosen for you. If you wish to have the name chosen for you instead of you picking out your own name you don't haft to say anything.
For the leaders & Apprentices
This is the dialogue for the ceremony. You can change it a little if you want, just as long as you get the ceremony over with it doesn't matter if you don't say it exactly.
Leader: I, (Leader), leader of (Clan), call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. (He/she) has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend (him/her) to you as a warrior in (his/her) turn.
Leader: (Apprentice), do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?
Apprentice: I do.
Leader: Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. (Apprentice), from this moment you will be known as (new warrior name). StarClan honors your (virtues), and we welcome you as a full warrior of (Clan).
Once these phrases are said the leader typically rests their chin on the new Warriors head and the apprentice licks the shoulder of their leader out of respect.
